2009 in Review

Happy 2010!

Wally doesn't have to write any papers

Here's what Dubya did all day while I wrote my last 10 page paper of the term. That's his new bed in his crate, which I finished yesterday.

Here you can see his new favorite toy, a two liter bottle that fell out of the recycling.

I love it when he snuggles with Hedgie.

Apparently Hedgie had some errands to run.

Barding

Wally had his first trip to the dog park today. If he's going to make a habit of hanging out there in the winter, it's clear he needs some barding.

We have some spare cordura nylon laying around and Seattle Fabric supplied us with some fleece, binding, buckles, and the pattern for a horse blanket.

Fall Roundup

P-patch cabbage. We had to share a little with some tiny snails, but we won in the end.

Kennet just decided one day to build these. And then he did. This picture was taken before the finishing stain.

My most favorite food right now.

My first complete sweater, all one piece, and luckily, for a baby. Hopefully it will go home with a particular baby tomorrow, but I have no idea if it will fit. Crossed fingers.

Tomato Madness

Hillary and I bought 25lbs of tomatoes at the farmers market yesterday for canning. We got through about 2/3rds of them and hopefully I'll finish the rest tonight. We also made green tomato chutney from the cherry tomatoes in her backyard. Can't wait to break into that!
